1830 Census of Hempstead County shows Daniel with:
1 male 10 and under 15 1 female 10 and under 15
2 male 15 and under 20 1 female 20 and under 30

One can only guess who these people are unless a will, Bible record or estate settlement can be .
found. From later census where children are thought to be children of Daniel we draw the
conclusion that Daniel was born in Virginia and altho his wife's name is not known, that she too,
was born in Virginia. Daniel's name does not. appear in the 1840 census.
Tax list of 1829 in Hempstead County has: Daniel and Daniel II, John, Joseph, Robert and
Stephen J.. From A. I. S. Daniel is listed in Hempstead County, Arkansas is 1828..

2-1-S John TYREE was born ca.. 1789 in Virginia. It is thought he was the son of Daniel
TYREE Sr. He married 26 March 1826 to Clorinda DAVENPORT. Clorinda was b.
ca. 1810, in N. C.. John was a farmer, living in Carouse twp. in the 1850 census of
Hempstead County, Arkansas.

EDMONDSON. He died in the Civil War. Wm. was the son of Ely and
Priscilla LOGAN-EDMONDSON. She married the 2nd time to Henry
McELROY/McROY.

Mattie ROSS-YARBERRY.

4-4-S Jacob (Jake) Jackson TYREE born 29, June 1856.
He married Marjorie A. DEAN, the daughter of
John C. and Amanda COVINGTON-DEAN. A family
story is: Deans were sitting on their porch
when Marjorie was a little girl and he rode by.
r Jake saw her and said, "I'll return and marry
her." He returned when she was 18 and he was
35 (marriage records read 22 and he 28) and
ask, "Would you like your name to be TYREE on
your tombstone?" Marjorie was born 30 June
1871 and died 25 April 1959. He died 7 May
1924. They are buried at Midway Church
Cemetery Nevada County (between Prescott and
Blevins). Jake with his family lived on a
branch of Brushy Creek where they would swim
and fish. They attended New Hope Methodist
Church.
